Scholarship Summary:
The University of Toledo offers the guaranteed Sister Cities Award to new international undergraduate students whose permanent address is within one of the Toledo Sister Cities/Regions at the same time as application, including:
a. Toledo, Spain
b. Londrina, Brazil
c. Qinhuangdao, China
d. Nanchong, China
e. Szeged, Hungary
f. Poznan, Poland
g. Toyohashi, Japan
h. Tanga, Tanzania
i. Coburg, Germany
j. Coimbatore, India
k. Hyderabad, Pakistan
l. Beqaa Valley, Lebanon
m. Ferrara, Italy
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have permanent residency status for one of the cities listed above
Value of Scholarship:
If you are from one of Toledo’s Sister Cities, you qualify for a special, lower tuition rate. You will pay the same tuition that Ohio residents pay plus a small fee of $100 per semester.
Students from Toledo's Sister Cities do not qualify for the International Rocket Award.
Scholarship Application Guide:
No additional application for scholarship is required; simply complete an application for admission to Toledo. A completed admission application includes the application for admission, all official academic transcripts, the official letter from your sponsor’s bank verifying sufficient funding, and your international English language proficiency test scores, if taken.
