Scholarship Summary:
Sarah Lawrence College offers a combination of merit and need-based scholarships to international citizens. In any given year, anywhere between 30-50% of international students are scholarship recipients. These funds are highly competitive and would require applicants to demonstrate exceptional academic ability.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria but past recipients were in the top 30 - 50% of the international applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Sarah Lawrence International Freshman Merit Scholarships ranges from $10,000 - $25,000 per year. Scholarships are renewed annually, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To be considered for both types of aid;
i. Students must complete the International Student Financial Aid Application. This and other requirements will be made available through an application portal upon completion of the Common Application.
ii. Official translated documentation of the family income are also required. This can be tax returns or statements of income from the parent(s)’ employer and bank statements. If the student or parent(s) have no other documentation of income, each must fill out our Non-tax Filer Statement form. This will be made available through the application portal
