Scholarship Summary:
The Marion Scholarship is awarded to incoming freshmen (domestic and international) who will continue the tradition of holding steadfast to the values of Samford University while aspiring to make a positive impact in their communities and throughout the world.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must;
i. Have a 3.0 minimum high school GPA
ii. Be fully admitted to Samford
Value of Scholarship:
The value of the Marion Scholarship varies but the average award for a Marion Scholar is $13,000.

Marion Scholarship recipients are expected to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA on all Samford University course work and uphold Samford’s code of values.
