Scholarship Summary:
The University of Reading offers an extensive range of scholarships to postgraduate students (UK and International) commencing their master’s degree studies in the 2024/25 academic year. Scholarships will be awarded primarily on the basis of previous academic accomplishment.
The University of Reading’s Master’s Scholarships Scheme offers two funding opportunities:
a) Centenary Scholarships – To mark the upcoming 100th anniversary of the Royal Charter, the University is offering 100 scholarships for which all master’s students are eligible to apply. These awards have been allocated to particular countries.
b) Subject Scholarships – These awards are provided by most of the Schools and are course–specific. Students may be considered for both this scholarship and the Centenary Scholarship.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for a scholarship,
i. You first need to submit an application for your chosen master’s programme and receive an offer of admission.
ii. Scholarships are awarded primarily based on previous academic accomplishment.
Value of Scholarship:
The Reading Postgraduate scholarships are valued as follows;
i. For UK/ROI students: £2,500 tuition fee discount
ii. For International students: £5,000 tuition fee discount
