Scholarship Summary:
The International Scholarships at Bangor University are available for international students starting an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course in September 2023 and January 2025.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
A number of criteria will be taken into account when awarding this scholarship including Course Choice, Academic Performance, Personal Statement, Academic References, Skills and Experience, Domicile. The scholarship will be awarded entirely at the University's discretion and is not guaranteed to each student.
You must be self-funding or partially funded. Candidates who are fully sponsored by a third party will not be entitled to this Scholarship.
This is available for all undergraduate courses starting in September 2024 and postgraduate taught courses starting in September 2024 and January 2025.
Value of Scholarship:
The Bangor International Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. For Undergraduates: Up to £4,000 for Year 1
ii. For Postgraduates: Up to £3,000
The scholarship is for the first year of study only, there are no scholarships available for subsequent years.
Scholarship Application Guide:
All international applicants will be considered for these scholarships when they submit their application to study at Bangor University through the Bangor application portal or UCAS. The outcome will be confirmed in the Offer Letter. No additional scholarship application is required.
