Scholarship Deadline: 
Applications for this scholarship will end as follows;
a. Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) 
Applications are now open and are considered on a rolling basis. Your offer email will confirm the exact deadlines. Do note that as applications are considered on a rolling basis for these two courses, an earlier course application is encouraged.

b. Graduate Entry LLB (GE LLB)

c. Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)
23rd February 2024 (First round) (CLOSED)
14th June 2024 (Second round) 

d. LLM (Master of Laws)
23rd February 2024 (First round) (CLOSED)
14th June 2024 (Second round) 
4th November 2024 (January 2025 intake only)

Scholarship Summary: 
The City Law School is firmly committed to a generous programme of scholarships awarded on the basis of academic excellence and is thus awarding 70 Scholarships for Academic Excellence to outstanding UK/EU and International postgraduates.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible, you must:
Have an upper second or first degree (or international equivalent) 
Hold an offer of a place on one of the eligible courses specified by The City Law School. The offer can be conditional or unconditional, and you do not need to have accepted your place in order to apply for a scholarship.
Be of any fee paying status (Home, EU or international) and be studying full-time or part-time.


Value of Scholarship: 
The City Law Scholarships for Academic Excellence are valued as follows;
i. £5,000 for the Master of Laws
ii. £3,000 - £4,000 for the Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) depending on the route of study
ii. £3,000 for Graduate Entry LLB or  or Solicitor's Practice Programme (SPP)
iii. £2,000 for Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)

i. Apply online for the City Law School Scholarship.
  • BVS and SPP scholarships applications are now open. You will be informed of the application deadline when you are made an offer. 
  • Offer holders on the GELLB, GDL and LLM (Master of Laws) programmes will not be contacted to apply for scholarship, however are welcome to apply once you have been made an offer and before the deadlines set out below.. 
Important Information for GE LLB applicants: Scholarship application is only available to those who hold an offer of a place on the GE LLB programme on the UCAS web portal.
