Scholarship Summary:
Merit-based scholarships are available for first-year domestic students (not from Massachusetts) and international students, who meet requirements not related to financial need and are awarded for superior academic achievement.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must;
• First-year applicants who are non-Massachusetts residents or international students and;
• Have a minimum high school cumulative grade point average at the time of acceptance to the university of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Value of Scholarship:
The WSU Non-Massachusetts merit scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Out-of-State Scholarship - $5,000 annually {Min. GPA: 3.0/4.0}
ii. International Scholarship - $5,000 annually {Min GPA: 3.0/4.0}
Merit Scholarships are renewable as a full-time Day Division student each year for a maximum of eight semesters, by making satisfactory academic progress and remaining in good academic standing.
