Scholarship Summary:
Undergraduate applicants (domestic and international) are automatically considered for scholarships after completing the application for admission. Scholarship decisions are based on applicant’s high school/college academic record.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be first-year applicants
Value of Scholarship:
The UMassD Merit Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. Chancellor’s Scholarship {3.8 GPA and 1200 SAT/25 ACT}
ii. Dean’s Scholarship {3.4 GPA and 1100 SAT/22 ACT}
iii. Admissions Award {2.70 GPA and 1000 SAT/20 ACT}
iv. International Freshmen Scholarship: $10,000-$15,500 (2.75 GPA and above)
The above scholarships are granted for a total of four years as long as the student maintains full-time status (12-day credits each semester).
