Scholarship Summary:
The University Commonwealth Scholarship is the highest undergraduate award offered to exceptional undergraduate students from Massachusetts.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must;
• be a resident of Massachusetts
• possess a minimum combined SAT Math & Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 1450 or ACT score of 32
• have a minimum grade point average of at least 3.75 after 7 semesters or a ranking in the top 5 percent of their class
• demonstrate potential through participation in activities and programs, to make meaningful contributions to the university, their communities, and society
Value of Scholarship:
The UMassD University Commonwealth Scholarship covers undergraduate day tuition and fees. The University Commonwealth Scholarship is granted for a total of four years as long as the student maintains a 3.25 cumulative GPA and completes 30 credits each academic year (fall and spring semesters) and maintains 15 credits each semester.
