Scholarship Summary:
University Canada West offers the MBA Foundation Study Grant to MBA international and domestic students, who are required to take the MBA Foundation courses as a part of their program plan.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain an undergraduate GPA of 3.00
ii. Demonstrate leadership potential in a global business environment
Value of Scholarship:
The UCW MBA Foundation Study Grant is valued as follows;
i. For Canadian students, award amount is CAD$3,500
ii. For International students, award amount is CAD$5,000
Disbursal:
1. Disbursements will commence in the last term of enrolment.
2. Disbursements will be pro-rated and applied equally to all remaining courses in the program.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Submit a completed Scholarship & Award Application form when applying for admission to UCW;
ii. Submit a Personal Statement (approximately 500 words) describing how undertaking the Master of Business Administration and MBA Foundation programs will impact your career and personal goals.
- The personal statement submitted with the Scholarship & Awards Application is final; no updated personal statements will be reviewed
iii. Recipients must complete 33 credits of the MBA degree program within 36 months (of completing the MBA Foundation courses)
