Scholarship Summary:
Each year, MECA offers one renewable full tuition scholarship to a first year domestic student who will be undertaking the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be a high school senior applying for Fall 2024 admission
ii. Demonstrate academic rigor in their high school academic career,
iii. Exhibit technical skill and personal voice in their application portfolio,
iv. Display a strong commitment to community engagement
Value of Scholarship:
The MECA BFA full-tuition scholarship covers the full tuition cost annually.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
• Complete a full BFA application submission for Fall 2024 by February 1, 2024
• Submit their portfolio through Slideroom.
• The Dean of Maine College of Art & Design will review all admission applications to identify the top tier of first-year students intending to enroll at MECA&D.
• From this cohort, one applicant will be awarded the Full Tuition Scholarship and will be informed by mid-March 2024.
