Scholarship Summary: 
The Burman President’s Award for Superior Academic Achievement is available to first year, first time students with superior academic achievement from a high school graduating class in schools located in Canada.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be first year, first time students, and
ii. Have a Burman Admission Average of 95% based on a minimum of 5 approved academic courses from a government-issued Grade 12 transcript, and
iii. Meet the deadline requirements, and
iv. Enrol in a minimum of 15 credits a term.

A student will be assessed for a Superior Academic Achievement scholarship once official transcripts are received and the 5 approved academic courses used to evaluate their admission average have been calculated based on their program of study. 

Value of Scholarship: 
The Burman President's Superior Academic Achievement Award covers 100% of tuition in Year 1 and is renewable for up to 4 years (for a 4 year degree).

Renewability Criteria
i. Enrol in and successfully complete a minimum 100% course load (15 Burman credits excluding PLAR and Audit credits) per term for Fall and Winter and
ii. Earn a minimum cumulative GPA for the two terms of 3.90

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. Complete an application for admission into Burman by February 1.  
ii. Complete a scholarship application by July 1.
iii. Pay the Confirmation of Enrolment Deposit of $150 by July 1
iv. September 18: Submit final high school transcripts for official evaluation
v. Register for fall term enrolment for 15 credits.  This scholarship is only available to fall term intakes.
