Scholarship Summary:
In support of the agreement between the China Scholarship Council (CSC) and the University of Guelph, graduate students registered in or have graduated from a master’s program anywhere in China and have been accepted into doctoral studies at Guelph, are eligible to receive funding from the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
a. Have sustained, outstanding academic achievement (including academic awards)
b. Be registered in or have graduated from a master’s program anywhere in China
c. Must have been accepted into doctoral studies at the University of Guelph
Value of Scholarship:
Up to 6 CSC Tuition Scholarships of approximately CAD$5,300 will be awarded and up to 2 awards of approximately CAD$11,300 will also be awarded.
The two scholarships will be reserved for students whose advisors have minimal research funding (unable to provide GRA funding).
