Scholarship Summary: 
Morningside College offers a variety of academic scholarships that celebrate the strengths of incoming freshmen (US citizens and residents only) and help make the education process more affordable.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be full-time, first-time undergraduate students
ii. Obtain a minimum GPA of 3.0

Value of Scholarship: 
The Morningside Academic scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Trustee: $15,000 per year ($60,000 total) and a $1,000 experiential travel stipend {4.0 GPA}
ii. Presidential: $14,000 per year ($56,000 total) and a $1,000 experiential travel stipend {3.6-3.99 GPA}
iii. Dean: $13,000 per year ($52,000 total) and a $1,000 experiential travel stipend {3.3-3.59 GPA}
iv. Founder: $11,000 per year ($40,000 total) {3.29 GPA or below}

ACT/SAT Incentive Scholarship
Student who choose to take the ACT or SAT and have their scores submitted to Morningside may qualify for an additional scholarship that can be combined with other scholarships and awards.
i. 31+ ACT/1390+ SAT: $5,000 per year ($15,000 total)
ii. 26-30 ACT/1230-1380 SAT: $3,000 per year ($12,000 total)
iii. 21-25 ACT/1060-1220: $1,000 per year ($4,000 total)

Applicants, who visit campus, will in addition receive a $1,000 Visit Grant per year for up to four years.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate application for these awards; scholarships are awarded automatically to eligible students upon application. A visit to campus is also required.
