Scholarship Summary: 
EKU is awarding merit scholarships to eligible first-time domestic non-resident freshmen and international students, based on their high school GPA and ACT score.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 4.0 out of 4.0 (unweighted)

Value of Scholarship: 
The EKU Out-of-State Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Scholar V Award: $500 annually {4.0 GPA}
ii. Scholar IV Award: $1,000 annually {4.0 GPA and ACT 29-30 or SAT 1350-1410}
ii. Scholar III Award: $3,000 annually {4.0 GPA and ACT 31-32 or SAT 1420-1480}
iii. Scholars II Award: $5,000 annually {4.0 GPA and ACT 33 or SAT 1490-1520}
iv. Scholars I Award: $7,000 annually {4.0 GPA and ACT 34+ or SAT 1530-1600}
v. OOS Discount: $9,620 annually (for domestic Kentucky non-residents only) 

Note that the OOS Discount is awarded in addition to a Scholar Award for domestic nonresidents.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate scholarship application; simply apply for admission and be admitted to EKU by April 15 to be considered for a scholarship.
