Scholarship Summary:
By applying for admission to Queen's, all eligible applicants (Canadian and international) are automatically considered for a grades-based admission scholarship. No application is required for these awards. Recipients of these scholarships will be selected automatically based on academic achievement alone.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Demonstrate academic excellence in high school records
Value of Scholarship:
The Queen’s Automatic Admission Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Principal’s Scholarship (Top 5%)*: CAD$7,000 for the first year only {Several awards available}
ii. Senator Frank Carrel Merit Scholarship (94%+): CAD$5,000, renewable for 3 subsequent years provided a 3.5 GPA is maintained {Available to 8 Canadian students who for at least one year at the time of their application have been and remain domiciled in the Province of Quebec}.
*Requisite high school GPA varies by program and from year to year.
