Scholarship Summary:
Carleton awards merit scholarships based on the academic grades of a previous degree, to top-quality graduate students (domestic and international). It is important to note that funding for international students is limited and only a few outstanding international applicants would be selected. Recommendations for these scholarships are made by your department during the application per year.

There are no set criteria for consideration but past applicants were in the top 10% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Carleton graduate merit scholarships are valued from CAD$1,000 – CAD$12,000 per year.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Applicants will be assessed for eligibility at the time of admission and do not need to apply separately. This offer of scholarship will be made at the time of admission and will be payable over the first fall and winter terms of study.
