Scholarship Summary:
University of Miami is awarding First Year Merit Scholarships to high-performing freshmen students (domestic and international), who will be starting their degree in the fall semester.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but all applicants will be automatically considered when they apply for early admission to UM by the stated deadlines.
It's important to note that past recipients of these awards were in the top 30% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The First-Year Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. The President's Scholarship ranges up to $28,000 annually.
ii. The Canes Achievement Award ranges up to $16,000 annually.
