'22 MacEwan University Canadian Undergraduate Entrance Scholarship (Canada Based)

Scholarship Summary: 
Canadian students entering a MacEwan degree program directly from high school (including dual credit initiatives) in the Fall term may be eligible for an Automated entrance scholarship based on the program they have selected and their admission average.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be considered for this scholarship, students must;
i. Be registered in at least 12 credits for the Fall and Winter terms of the upcoming academic year, and continue to be enrolled in an eligible program and the minimum credits after add/drop deadline for each term.
ii. Have achieved a high school average within the scholarship range of 80% – 100%, on courses used for admission to a program;
iii. In the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications, students may also be selected based on their outstanding audition and/or portfolio.

Value of Scholarship: 
MacEwan's Automated Entrance Scholarships for domestic students are assigned in the following tiers:
a. 95-100% - President’s Scholarship - $5,000
b. 90-94.99% - Provost’s Scholarship - $3,000
c. 85-89.99% - Dean’s Scholarship 1 - $2,000
d. 80-84.99% - Dean’s Scholarship 2 - $1,000

The scholarship will be disbursed in two equal amounts across two terms (Fall and Winter). To receive the second disbursement of the scholarship in the Winter term, students must have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the Fall term.
