Scholarship Summary: 
University of Strathclyde is delighted to offer generous scholarships to all eligible postgraduate taught Masters, MSW or PGDE, self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders, joining a full-time, on-campus, course in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in August/September 2026.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a Humanities and Social Sciences Postgraduate scholarship;
i. An applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time attendance course in the 2026/27 academic year.
ii. Awards will be assessed on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.
iii. Deposits must be paid by the scholarship deadline date.
 
Value of Scholarship: 
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences - Postgraduate Taught International Scholarships are valued as follows;
a) International Masters Scholarship (Humanities and Social Sciences): £6,000 or £8,000 depending on programme fee.

b) Dean’s International Excellence Awards (Humanities and Social Sciences): £10,000 {6 awards available}

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Eligible students who have an offer of study for a postgraduate taught course in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences will be notified and encouraged to apply as part of their offer of study.
