Scholarship Summary:
New International students (postgraduate or undergraduate) with unconditional offers for 2025/26 may receive the Early Confirmation Award when paying their tuition fees not later than the above deadline. This discount is for new International Students enrolling onto a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme in Queen’s University Belfast.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship;
i. The Early Confirmation Award discount is exclusively available to new international students beginning a full-time course in the academic year 2025-26.
ii. Students must be classified as international fee-paying students paying the international tuition fee rate in order to be considered for this discount.
iii. Students must hold an unconditional offer of a place on a full-time programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus starting in the academic year 2025-26.
iv. Students must pay their net tuition fees i.e. tuition fees in full less any International Office awards by the above deadlines.
Value of Scholarship:
The Early Confirmation Award is a £1,500 tuition fee reduction and it may be used in conjunction with other scholarships where eligible such as the International Postgraduate Scholarship or International Undergraduate Scholarship.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; full tuition fees less any International Office awards should be paid by the following deadlines:
a) Undergraduate unconditional offer holders: 14 September 2025
b) Postgraduate Taught unconditional offer holders: 14 September 2025
c) Postgraduate Research unconditional offer holders before the start date given in their offer letter
