Scholarship Summary:
Concord University is committed to assisting freshmen students (domestic and international) in meeting the financial challenge of paying for their education by rewarding outstanding freshmen students with the First-Time Freshman Scholarships. These scholarships are awarded in the fall semester of each academic year and are divided equally between fall and spring semesters.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
Value of Scholarship:
The First-Time Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. For West Virginia residents, the amount ranges from $1,000 - $4,500 and a $1,000 Residential Scholarship
ii. For Non-West Virginia residents, the amount ranges from $2,000 - $10,000 and a $1,000 Residential Scholarship
iii. For international students, the amount ranges from $5,000 - $7,000

Students need to simply complete their admission’s application to be considered for a merit scholarship.
