Scholarship Summary: 
The Freshman Merit Awards are the base academic scholarships that are awarded to incoming freshman students (domestic and international). These awards are merit based and determined by student ACT or SAT scores and GPA. Students have the opportunity to retake the ACT or SAT until the date that they begin enrollment in order to increase their score with the potential to receive a larger scholarship.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 
OR
ii. Earn a minimum cumulative test score of 1060 SAT/ 21 ACT/ 68 CLT 

Value of Scholarship: 
The Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Platinum Scholar Scholarship: $5,500 {Required: 3.75 GPA/ 29 ACT/ 1330 SAT/ 89 CLT}
ii. Silver Scholar Scholarship: $3,250 {Required: 3.50 GPA/ 25 ACT/ 1200 SAT/ 78 CLT}
iii. Dean’s Merit Scholarship: $1,500 {Required: 3.00 GPA/ 21 ACT/ 1060 SAT/ 68 CLT}

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Eligible students will be awarded scholarship awards upon receipt of their completed application form.
