Scholarship Summary: 
The University of Arkansas – Fort Smith has greatly expanded its scholarship program to ensure that more students (domestic and international) have the opportunity to attend the university. UAFS offers the Academic Merit Scholarships to all eligible incoming students.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Earn a minimum ACT score of 19+
ii. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0

Value of Scholarship: 
The UAFS Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. UAFS Lion Pride Scholarship - $1,000 for tuition and fees and $1,500 Housing Stipend {Required: 3.0 GPA OR 19 ACT}
ii. UAFS Bronze Scholarship - $2,000 for tuition and fees and $1,500 Housing Stipend {Required: 3.25 GPA OR 21 ACT}
iii. UAFS Silver Scholarship - $3,000 for tuition and fees and $1,500 Housing Stipend {Required: 3.6 GPA OR 25 ACT}
iv. UAFS Gold Scholarship - $4,000 for tuition and fees and $1,500 Housing Stipend {Required: 3.8 GPA OR 27 ACT}
v. UAFS Platinum Scholarship - $6,000 for tuition and fees and $1,500 Housing Stipend {Required: Valedictorian OR 4.0 GPA and 30 ACT}

Scholarships are for four years or completion of an undergraduate degree, whichever comes first. Renewal is based upon the completion of 24 hours per academic year.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is NO separate scholarship application for these awards. Students should apply early for admission to UAFS for priority consideration. Scholarships are awarded as long as funding remains available.
