Scholarship Summary: 
DSU is delighted to offer several merit scholarships awarded by the University’s Office of Admission, to entering full-time, first-year out-of-state domestic freshmen on the basis of above superior academic achievement. You must be regularly admitted, full-time, first-year and enroll in the fall semester immediately following high school graduation.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
 To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be US citizens who are non-residents of Delaware 
ii. Obtain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher
iii. Earn 17+ ACT or 920+ SAT  
iv. Currently be a Senior in high school

*** A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or above is required if the SAT or ACT test scores are not submitted.

Value of Scholarship: 
DSU Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
Out-of-State Residents 
i. DSU GAP Scholarship: $3,000 {Required: 2.75+ GPA and 17+ ACT or 920+ SAT}  
ii. Partial Tuition Scholarship: varies {Required: 3.0+ GPA and 20+ ACT or 1030+ SAT}
iii. Full Tuition Scholarship: Full tuition {Required: 3.5+ GPA and 23+ ACT or 1130+ SAT} 

Scholarship Application Guide: 
A scholarship application is not required; simply for admission.

Please note that scholarship candidates are selected from the pool of admission applicants and are evaluated based on their complete academic (GPA and test scores) profile. A scholarship application is not required. Eligibility in no way guarantees awarding. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
