Scholarship Summary:
Roanoke invests in students who have achieved in high school and will be offering academic merit awards ward based upon high academic achievement to incoming freshmen students (domestic and international).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply, you must:
• Be admitted for undergraduate study
• Demonstrate academic excellence in your high school records
Value of Scholarship:
Roanoke Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued up to $20,000 annually, for up to 4 years. Here are some examples of merit scholarships awarded at the time of admissions to first-time freshmen:
a. 4.0+ GPA = $20,000*
b. 3.80 GPA = $18,000*
c. 3.50 GPA = $16,000*
d. 3.35 GPA = $14,000*
*Applicants with a high school GPA of at least a 3.0 and a 1200 SAT/25 ACT or higher at the time of acceptance to Roanoke will receive an additional $1,000 merit award.
Scholarship Application Guide:
A student must first apply and be accepted to the College. No separate scholarship application is required for an initial merit scholarship award.
