Scholarship Summary:
Bethel University has a long history of rewarding the academic accomplishments of its incoming freshman (domestic and international) and awards academic scholarships to a large percentage of its freshman class every year.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for a Freshman Academic Scholarship, you must;
• Be a new freshman student
• Have a minimum ACT score of 18 or 960 SAT
• Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5
Value of Scholarship:
The Bethel Freshman Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Bethel Honor Scholarship: Varying amounts up to $1,000 for dorm students and $600 for commuters. {Required: 20-22 ACT/1030-1120 SAT OR 3.0-3.24 GPA}
ii. Dean’s Honor Scholarship: Varying amounts up to $2,000 for dorm students and $1,200 for commuters. {Required: 23-24 ACT/1130-1190 SAT OR 3.25-3.49 GPA}
iii. Trustee Honor Scholarship: Varying amounts up to $4,000 for dorm students and $2,400 for commuters. {Required: 25-26 ACT/1200-1250 SAT OR 3.5- 3.74 GPA.
iv. Presidential Honor Scholarship: Varying amounts up to $6,000 for dorm students and $3,600 for commuters. {Required: 27 ACT/1260 SAT OR 3.75 GPA}
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; eligible freshman will be automatically considered for an academic scholarship upon admission.
