Scholarship Summary:
The High Potential Scholarships at Western Sydney University recognise excellence, engaged leaders, elite athletes, and Western program participants. These scholarships are designed for Australian students (undergraduate and postgraduate) who show exceptional promise within and beyond their academic achievements.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are set scholarship criteria but strong academic performance and excellence in extracurricular activities, sports, the arts, community service or leadership all hold the key to a successful application.
Value of Scholarship:
The WSU High Potential Scholarships range from AUD$2,500 for up to 2 years to AUD$30,000 per year for up to 2 years
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply for the High Potential Scholarships;
i. You only need to submit one application through the Western Sydney University scholarship form to assess your eligibility for each available scholarship in this category; you must have applied for admission into WSU.
ii. Applicants must provide a statement supporting their application indicating how they believe receiving the scholarship will assist them with their studies and future careers. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need and merit.
iii. Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, ability to meet the criteria, and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.
