Scholarship Summary:
The University of Southampton Presidential Bursaries for overseas postgraduate researchers will cover the fee difference between UK and overseas fees. These bursaries are open to all overseas candidates
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, you must:
i. must be accepted to commence a doctoral study by research at the University of Southampton in the academic year 2024/25
ii. Have a first class or equivalent in their undergraduate or integrated masters degree
and/or a distinction overall, with a distinction in the project or equivalent in a standalone masters. Equivalency may be established by reference to standard comparators such as NARIC.
iii. Scholarship recipients must commence their doctoral studies by research between 1 August and 1 December 2024.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Southampton Presidential Bursaries will cover the fee difference between UK and overseas fees.
Scholarship Application Guide:
You do not need to apply for a Presidential Bursary. Faculties will make applications for bursaries to the Doctoral College on behalf of suitably qualified candidates.
