Scholarship Summary:
All students (domestic and international) who apply for admission into Willamette are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships which are awarded in recognition of academic achievement based on cumulative GPA, SAT or ACT scores (unless you are applying test optional), and course selection (based on what is available at your school.) Merit scholarships are awarded at the time of admission.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria but past recipients were in the top 40% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Willamette Freshman merit scholarships start from $22,000 per year and are automatically renewed for all four years at Willamette.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; students who apply for admission as first-year applicants will be considered for these awards. While consideration is primarily placed on academic performance, all elements of a student’s application are taken into consideration.
