Scholarship Summary: 
Three New Brunswick students will receive the Beaverbrook Scholars Award when admitted for undergraduate story at the University of New Brunswick. Beaverbrook Scholars must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership qualities, extra-curricular involvement and financial need.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The criteria for this Scholarship include;
i. Graduates of New Brunswick high schools
ii. Display high academic ability 
iii. Demonstrate financial need
iv. Have made contribution to their communities

Value of Scholarship: 
The Beaverbrook Scholars Award is valued at CAD$50,000 each ($12,500 per year for 4 years).

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. Submit a completed application form and be admitted into UNB.
ii. Submit the following documents to the UNB’s Undergraduate Awards Office; 
    1. Completed and signed scholarship application form
    2. Personal statement essay outlining your extracurricular activities, leadership, financial need, work experience and career plans, as well as what receiving this scholarship/bursary would mean to you
    3. Two letters of recommendation, one of which is from a teacher, principal, guidance counselor or employer. 
    4. Official high school transcript, including your rank in class 

- The completed application package may be emailed to the Undergraduate Awards Office as a single PDF, faxed or mailed with the required signatures. The applicant must be able to supply the original documentation to the Undergraduate Awards Office upon request;
