Scholarship Summary: 
This longstanding four-year scholars program at Gordon College named for the founder, tailors individual academic and personal development for emerging scholars and leaders (domestic and international students), reflecting the foundations in earnest learning and faith demonstrated by Dr. A. J. Gordon himself. The A. J. Gordon Scholarship is awarded to 20 first-year applicants each year. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;

Value of Scholarship: 
The A. J. Gordon Scholarship is valued as $18,000 per year and it replaces all other Gordon aid.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
In order to be considered for this scholarship, 
i.  First-year applicants must complete the Gordon College Admissions application  by the deadlines. Once admitted, eligible students will receive a personal invitation to apply to the Scholars programs. Evidence of academic strength, eager curiosity, and demonstrated initiative in local, national, or global communities is desired. 
This application process includes:
ii.  Apply: Complete an honors application and essays (This will be sent with your personal email invitation)
  • Visit: Please choose one of the following options
  • Attend an Honors Day 
  • Arrange a campus visit before Honors Day
  • Contact the College if travel is not possible
iii.  Interview: Complete an in-person honors interview on your campus visit or a virtual interview before Honors Day with program directors and staff.
