Scholarship Summary: 
This longstanding four-year scholars program at Gordon College named for the founder, tailors individual academic and personal development for emerging scholars and leaders (domestic and international students), reflecting the foundations in earnest learning and faith demonstrated by Dr. A. J. Gordon himself. The A. J. Gordon Scholarship is awarded to eligible first-year applicants each year. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be a high school senior
ii. Minimum GPA of 3.75
iii. Demonstrate sincere academic curiosity and initiative in one or more areas of interest
iv. Demonstrate a desire to take initiative in serving or leading others in groups or communities

Value of Scholarship: 
The A. J. Gordon Scholarship is valued as $3,000 per year and is stackable with merit scholarships.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
In order to be considered for this scholarship, 
i.  First-year applicants must complete the Gordon College Admissions application by the deadline. 
ii. Submit your before the deadline
  • Applicants must show evidence of academic strength, and sincere curiosity and initiative in an area of interest as well as a desire to serve local communities is desired.
iii. Attend an Honors Day on December 6 or January 24. 

iv. Complete your interview:
  • GHI Fellowship applicants will complete an interview on Honors Day.
  • Finalists for the Scholars Cohorts will receive an email to schedule a 30-minute virtual interview with an honors staff member.
