Scholarship Summary:
The Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship at Seton Hall is awarded in the fall semester to incoming domestic and international freshmen who have outstanding academic records; have overcome economic or educational hardship and demonstrated a commitment to diversity and serving or working with socio-economically or educationally underserved communities.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be first-time freshmen students;
ii. Have outstanding academic records;
iii. Have overcome economic or educational hardship
iv. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and serving or working with socio-economically or educationally underserved communities.
Value of Scholarship:
The Seton Hall Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship ranges from $6,500 to $8,500 and is renewable contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 GPA and actively participating in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Association.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Complete the application for admission into Seton Hall.
ii. Complete the online Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship Application.
iii. All recipients must address issues of equality and social justice through servant leadership and scholarship. The completed application form and your application for admission must be received by the scholarship deadline.
