Scholarship Summary:
All admitted students (domestic and international) are eligible for merit scholarships in Guilford. Specific amounts are based on academic achievements, the strength of the student's curriculum, meaningful activities outside of the classroom and information provided in the student's essay and letters of recommendation.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria but consideration will be based upon a holistic review of each student’s application for admission which include; grades, coursework, SAT and/or ACT scores or your writing portfolio (Guilford is test-optional), class rank when available, leadership and community service, and extracurricular activities.

Value of Scholarship:
The value of Guilford's Merit scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Domestic students: $15,000 to $27,000 annually ($60,000 to $108,000 over four years) 
ii. International students: $5,000 to $20,000 annually ($20,000 to $80,000 over four years) 

These merit scholarships require full-time enrollment and that you maintain good academic standing to retain your institutional aid.
