Scholarship Summary: 
Incoming Ohio non-resident domestic freshmen will be considered for the President’s Achievement Award if they apply to Kent State University by the deadline. You are not required to provide ACT or SAT test scores to be considered for admission, merit scholarships, or the Honors College program as Kent State is test-optional. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be classified as a non-Ohio resident for tuition 
ii. Be a U.S. citizen and declare a bachelor’s degree-granting major
iii. Plan to enroll full-time at the Kent Campus.

Value of Scholarship: 
The KSU President’s Achievement Award is valued as follows;
i. President’s Achievement Award: Annual awards range from $7,500 - $13,000
ii. PA Scholar of Distinction Award: Annual awards range from $10,200 - $15,000 (for Pennsylvania residents) 

This scholarship is a four-year renewable award and can be awarded in addition to the Honors Distinction Award
