Scholarship Summary: 
University of Kentucky is awarding academic scholarships to incoming domestic freshmen students who have demonstrated academic excellence in their high school records.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration;
For in-state students
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.3
ii. Obtain an ACT score of 26 or a SAT equivalent of 1230

For out-of-state students
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0

Value of Scholarship: 
The University of Kentucky Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
For in-state students
i. Provost I: $2,500 annually {3.3 GPA and 26 ACT/1230 SAT (Test optional: 3.5 GPA)}
ii. Provost II: $5,000 annually {3.3 GPA and 28 ACT/1300 SAT (Test optional: 3.75 GPA)}

For out-of-state students
i. Bluegrass I: $5,000 annually {Test optional: 3.0 GPA}
ii. Bluegrass II: $8,000 annually {3.0 GPA and 25 ACT/1200 SAT (Test optional: 3.5 GPA)}
iii. Bluegrass III: $10,000 annually {3.5 GPA and 25 ACT/1200 SAT (Test optional: 3.6 GPA)}
iii. Bluegrass II: $12,500 annually {3.5 GPA and 30 ACT/1360 SAT (Test optional: 3.8 GPA)}

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Students who meet the traditional or test optional minimum criteria, apply for admission and submit all supporting documents, including high school transcript, as soon as possible, but by no later than December 1, will be considered for academic scholarships. 

Once admitted, eligible students are automatically considered for academic scholarships. No additional application is required.
