Scholarship Summary:
The University of Kentucky offers the renewable, competitive Otis A. Singletary scholarship to incoming first-time freshmen (US citizens and residents only) with high academic achievements. This Scholarship will be offered pending early application and availability of funds.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered, you must;
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.80 unweighted GPA;
ii. Obtain an ACT score of 33 or an SAT equivalent of 1450
Test-optional applicants must have a 4.00 unweighted GPA to be eligible for this scholarship
Value of Scholarship:
Singletary Scholars receive full tuition for four years, a two-year $10,000 housing stipend, and the benefits of the Lewis Honors College, including a three-course mentored experience.

i. Students must apply for admission, complete the competitive scholarship section of the admission application and submit all supporting documents by December 1, to have their application reviewed in this highly competitive program.
ii. Competitive scholarship interviews hold in the University of Kentucky from late January through mid-February; candidates will be contacted by February 15 if they are invited to interview.
