Scholarship Summary: 
All domestic freshmen students who apply to the University of Missouri and are admitted will automatically be considered for a range of scholarships.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be full-time students seeking a first bachelor's degree
ii. Obtain the required GPA and ACT (or SAT) scores {check scholarship link for academic requirements}

Value of Scholarship: 
The Mizzou Freshman Automatic Scholarships are valued as follows;

I. Mississippi Residents
a. Chancellor’s Award: $7,200/year
b. Curators Scholars Award: $5,000/year
c. Excellence Award: $3,500/year
c. Provost's Award: $1,000/year
d. Missouri Land Grant: 100% of unmet need for tuition and fees {For Pell-eligible students, must submit FAFSA to MU by Feb 1}
e. Perfect Score Scholarship: 100% tuition and fees + $3,500 additional stipend + $13,550 one year on-campus housing and dining + one-time payments $2,000 for research/study abroad and $1,000 for tech enrichment [36 ACT or 1570-1600 SAT (superscores used)]

II. Mississippi Non-Residents
a. Mark Twain Level 1 Award: $21,500/year
b. Mark Twain Level 2 Award: $8,500/year
c. Black & Gold Level 1 Award: $21,500/year {Have a biological, adoptive or stepparent who graduated from the University of Missouri}
d. Black & Gold Level 2 Award: $11,000/year {Have a biological, adoptive or stepparent who graduated from the University of Missouri}
e. Tiger Border County Award Level 1$21,500/year {Reside in a county bordering Missouri with a 3.8+ cumulative high school GPA on a 4.0 scale}
f. Tiger Border County Award Level 2$17,000/year {Reside in a county bordering Missouri with a 3.25-3.799 cumulative high school GPA on a 4.0 scale}
g. Black & Gold Border County Award:  $21,500/year {Reside in a county bordering Missouri and have a biological, adoptive or stepparent who graduated from the University of Missouri}
h. Border State Award: $3,000 (Reside in one of the eight states that border Missouri; Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee) {Can be combined with Mark Twain Level 2 or Black & Gold Level 2}
