Scholarship Summary:
The Owens Corning Building Opportunities Scholarship supports the recruitment and retention of domestic freshmen students from historically marginalized groups interested in pursuing undergraduate degrees in BGSU’s School of the Built Environment.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must
i. be incoming US freshmen;
ii. be enrolled in or have a declared major within the School of the Built Environment in the College of Technology, Architecture, and Applied Engineering;
iii. be in good academic standing.
iv. Preference will be given to students from historically marginalized groups.
v. Additional preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by FAFSA.
Value of Scholarship:
The BGSU Owens Corning Building Opportunities Scholarship varies in amount.
Awards are eligible for renewal for up to 3 years while pursuing an undergraduate degree, provided the recipient maintains good academic standing and remains in the School of Built Environment.
