Scholarship Summary:
When you apply to Barry University, you are automatically considered for a merit scholarship based on academic merit – no special forms are required. Upon acceptance, the Admissions office will let you know how much you’re qualified to receive. Domestic and international students are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria but scholarships are awarded annually to talented incoming freshmen based on scholastic achievement.
Value of Scholarship:
The Barry Merit Scholarships are applied to tuition and are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholarship: up to $19,000
ii. Trustee Award: up to $15,500
iii. Dean’s Award: up to $14,500
iv. Red, Black and Silver: up to $12,500
v. Achievement Award: up to $7,500
All above scholarships are renewable provided, the student maintains satisfactory academic progress and a minimum GPA of 2.0.
