Scholarship Summary:
The Master’s EU Scholarship scheme is for postgraduate taught (Masters) EU students studying as a new student in academic year 2024-25 who are classified as international students for fees purposes. The awards offered are a discount of up to £5,500 automatically deducted from tuition fees.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The following are the eligibility criteria;
i. These scholarships are restricted to EU applicants who are classified as international students for fees purposes.
ii. Applicants must be entirely self-funded.
iii. Applicants must be starting their first year of study on a postgraduate taught degree (Masters) programme at the University of Essex in 2024-25.
iv. Applicants must actively make Essex their firm choice by the above deadlines. Applicants that become firm with Essex through rejection by their original firm choice selection elsewhere are not eligible.
v. Only one scholarship award can be made per student and the award cannot normally be held in conjunction with other University of Essex awards.
vi. This scholarship is available for the first year of study only.
vii. Successful applicants should be available for promotional activities.
Value of Scholarship:
The Master’s EU Scholarship is valued as £1,500 or £5,500, and is awarded as a discount towards the cost of tuition fees for a postgraduate degree offered at the University of Essex.
