Scholarship Summary:
UMass Lowell is proud to award a number of prestigious scholarships to a select number of the top 5 – 10% of academically qualified admitted freshmen who are permanent residents of Massachusetts.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be permanent residents of Massachusetts
ii. Be in the top 10% of the applicant pool
Value of Scholarship:
The UML Massachusetts Prestigious Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Chancellor’s Scholarship - Annual award of full tuition and mandatory fees {top 5% of the incoming freshman class}
ii. Dean’s Scholarship - Annual award up to half of tuition and mandatory fees {top 10% of the incoming freshman class}
Renewal requirements: Cumulative GPA of at least 3.000, full-time status, maximum of eight consecutive semesters.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; simply apply for admission by the Early Action Deadline to be considered.
