Scholarship Summary:
First-time incoming students from qualifying counties in Illinois and Kentucky are eligible for the Regional Award which pays the difference between non-resident and Indiana resident tuition.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be from qualifying counties in Illinois and Kentucky
- Qualifying eligible Kentucky counties: Daviess, Henderson, Union, Hancock
- Qualifying eligible Illinois counties: Alexander, Clay, Clinton, Cook, Crawford, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jackson, Jasper, Jefferson, Johnson, Lawrence, Madison, Marion, Massac, Monroe, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Randolph, Richland, Saline, St. Clair, Union, Wabash, Washington, Wayne, White, Williamson
ii. Live on campus for the first year
Value of Scholarship:
The USI Regional Award pays the difference between non-resident and Indiana resident tuition. Recipients of the Regional award are also eligible to receive the David L. Rice Scholarship in addition.
