Trent University is offering several prestigious scholarships to Canadian undergraduates who have performed exceptionally in their academics, as well contributed positively to their communities.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, you must meet the following criteria;
i. Be a Canadian student entering their first year at Trent with a final admission average of 80% or higher.
ii. Must be enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program.
Value of Scholarship:
The Trent University’s Prestigious Undergraduate Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. Champlain Scholarship: Each year, two scholarships are awarded to entering students of exceptionally high academic achievement and promise.
- Annual scholarship value: CAD$7,500
ii. Board of Governor’s Leadership Scholarship: Each year, 1 scholarship is awarded to an entering student who has shown outstanding leadership and involvement in his/her community, as well as academic achievement.
- Annual scholarship value: CAD$7,500
iii. Special Admission Scholarship: Each year, ten scholarships are awarded to entering students of outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievement.
- Annual scholarship value: CAD$4,500
iv. Canada Wide Science Fair Scholarship: Each year, 1 scholarship is awarded to an entering student of outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievement who has been awarded a medal or an honourable mention for a senior-level project at a Canada-Wide Science Fair within the past two calendar years.
- Annual scholarship value: CAD$4,500
v. Michael Treadwell Scholarship:
Awarded every four years to one entering student of exceptional high achievement and promise intending to major in the humanities.
- Annual scholarship value: $4,500 per year (Two Available)
Special Admission, Science Fair, and Michael Treadwell scholarship recipients, with a final admissions average of 95% or greater, will receive Full Tuition in their first year of study at Trent University.
These prestigious scholarships are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study provided the student maintains a minimum 80% average in 5.0 Trent University credits during the previous academic year.
