Scholarship Summary:
The Signature Scholarship is Holy Cross College’s most prestigious merit award. All First Year applicants (domestic and international) whose applications are submitted on or before February 15 are eligible to be considered for a Signature Scholarship.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 15% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Holy Cross Signature Scholarships are valued at up to $20,000 annually.
The Signature scholarships are renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters of full-time attendance provided the required minimum cumulative GPA is maintained.
Scholarship Application Guide:
i. Admitted students who submit a completed application, including all supporting documents by the deadline will be considered for a Signature Scholarship.
ii. All new First Year applicants are automatically considered for nomination as part of the application review process by the Committee on Admissions. Those applicants selected as nominees will be notified of their nomination in the decision notification. The nomination process is highly selective.
iii. The Signature Scholarship awarding process requires a short supplemental essay in addition to an interview, which can be completed via phone or virtual meeting. The interview is 20-30 minutes in length and is typically completed within two weeks of receiving the nomination. To register for an interview, please log in to your Holy Cross Applicant Portal.
