The Milligan Honors Program provides an advanced and enriching opportunity for high achieving undergraduate students (US citizens and residents only) from all major fields. Honors Program participants who apply to Milligan by the deadline, are eligible to apply for the Jeanes Honors Scholarship and the Presidential Academic Scholarships.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
ALL of the following are required for Honors Program and Jeanes Scholarship consideration:
i. A high school GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
ii. A score of at least:
- 29 (composite) on the ACT OR
- 1340 (not including Writing) on the NEW SAT OR
- 90 on the CLT
Value of Scholarship:
The Honors Scholarships are valued as follows;i. Jeanes Honors Scholarship covers the full tuition cost annually and is awarded to two students.
ii. The Honors Scholarship varies in amount and will be offered to those who meet the eligibility criteria detailed above
Scholarship Application Guide:
ALL of the following are required for Jeanes Honors Scholarship consideration:
- Be admitted to Milligan by the above deadline
- Submit a resume detailing your demonstrated extracurricular interests, community involvement, and leadership ability
- Complete the by the above deadline, including essay and two additional references from teachers
- Interview with faculty during a campus visit prior to January 24 OR during Honors Weekend (Jan. 24-25, 2026)
