Scholarship Summary:
The University of Stirling Postgraduate Merit Scholarship is available to Postgraduate students from the UK or Republic of Ireland who have received a First Class Honours degree (or equivalent) and are studying full-time on any taught Masters course.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply, you need to meet the following criteria:
i. Available to any UK or Republic of Ireland student with a First Class Honours degree (or equivalent).
ii. Only available to self-funded students paying tuition fees to the University of Stirling.
iii. Only available for courses fully taught on campus.
iv. Not available to students studying postgraduate certificates, diplomas or modules.
v. You must be a new student starting a at the University in January 2026, September 2026 or January 2027.
Value of Scholarship:
The Postgraduate Merit Scholarship has a value of £2,000. This scholarship will be applied as a fee reduction in the first instance then, if any balance remains this will be awarded in cash within the first semester of your course.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Students will automatically be identified as part of the admissions process. No separate application is required for this award.
