Scholarship Summary: 
Sheffield Hallam University is offering the Vice Chancellor’s Award (an automatic tuition fee bursary) to international applicants from selected regions for full-time taught undergraduate courses and postgraduate courses starting in September 2024 and January 2025.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible, you must be:
  1. Domiciled in Nigeria, Ghana, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines or Vietnam.
  2. Self-financing your tuition fees.
  3. Entering a full-time taught postgraduate course or a full-time taught undergraduate course.
  4. Starting in September 2024 or January 2025.
  5. Studying at Sheffield Hallam for the first time.

Value of Scholarship: 

The SHU Vice-Chancellor’s Award is valued as follows;
i. Africa includes Ghana and Nigeria: £3,000 for your first year of study
ii. South Asia includes India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal: £2,000 for your first year of study
iii. South East Asia includes Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines or Vietnam: £3,000 for your first year of study

Scholarship Application Guide: 

There is no separate application process for this scholarship. You will be assessed when you apply for your chosen programme of study. If you are successfully offered this scholarship, to receive the funding you must accept your offer of admission and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline specified.
