Philander Smith University scholarship and grant program recognizes academic achievements and special talents of its incoming freshman class and awards the Presidential Scholarship to the top performing applicants (US citizens and residents only). Scholarship candidates are selected from the pool of admitted applicants but eligibility in no way guarantees awarding.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, the following criteria must be met;
i. Presidential Scholar: 3.8 GPA | 28 ACT or 1300 SAT
ii. Demonstrate financial need
