Scholarship Summary:
CCU awards academic scholarships to new freshmen students (domestic and international) who meet specific academic requirements. Awarding is done on a first-come first-served basis as funds are available. Scholarships are awarded evenly by semester, and those students applying for scholarships must be enrolled each semester to be eligible.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Earn a minimum high school of 2.8
ii. Obtain a minimum SAT score of 1110 or a minimum ACT score of 22
Value of Scholarship:
The CCU Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Distinguished Achievement Scholarship: $22,000 per year {Required: 4.0 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 30 or SAT composite score of 1410, or CLT score of 97}
ii. Trustees' Scholarship: $18,000 per year {Required: 3.8 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 28 or SAT composite score of 1320, or CLT score of 92}
iii. President's Scholarship: $16,000 per year {Required: 3.6 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 24 or SAT composite score of 1190, or CLT score of 79}
iv. Deans' Scholarship: $12,000 per year {Required: 3.4 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 23 or SAT composite score of 1140, or CLT score of 75}
v. Honors Scholarship: $8,000 per year {Required: 2.8 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 22 or SAT composite score of 1110, or CLT score of 72}
